Without preaching or lecturing, Mollie Hobaugh-Sorensen gives both kids and adults plenty of good reasons why in The Forgotten Virtue. The "forgotten" virtue, of course, is chastity, which includes abstinence before marriage and fidelity afterward. The author speaks in particular of "enlightened chastity," a chastity lived for reasons of love and good will rather than a restrictive, confining law. Her approach is sensible and moral without being denominational.
